La Croix Belle is the story of a family who, generation after generation, has been able to combine a sense of responsibility, a love of the land, and the transmission of a deeply rooted art of living.

“My ancestors, winegrowers from father to son, have always farmed the vineyard with passion while actively engaging in the local public life.

It is not simply about producing wine, nor even about creating an authentic and singular product with a deep sense of place. It is about preserving a subtle balance between family heritage, the needs of our local area, and the desire to innovate with precision.

Today, I continue this story by pushing our practices toward greater sustainability, simplicity, and efficiency.

I pass on to my descendants, my sons, Emmanuel and Benoît, and later to my seven grandchildren, this mindset, a vision, a philosophy: that of a winegrower aware of his social role and responsibility, both guardian and custodian of a legacy, and a guide toward the future.”

Taking good care of the vineyard, every day

Under the Languedoc sun, the Boyer family, committed winemakers of La Croix Belle, grow their vineyard naturally, they know just how precious their terroir is.

We invest in eco-friendly innovations such as vineyard protection management through ozonated water: a 100% natural method that respects the life of the soil and the health of the plant.

After being applied onto the vine, ozonated water simply returns back to its oxygen form again, thereby helping to purify the ecosystem of the plant.

Precision work in the winery

We express our passion through a subtle balance between emotion and technical precision.

We incorporate an innovative process upon the arrival of the crop at the winery: a density-based berry sorting system allows us to select grapes at their optimal ripeness. This incremental step ensures vintages that remain true to the Boyer family’s vision, authentic and elegant.

A holistic vision of sustainability

For over 20 years, our vineyard effluents (water from the winery containing by-products from grapes and wine, subject to regulation) have been cleansed through a bamboo grove adjacent to our winery.

This natural system eliminates the need for transportation, reduces its associated impact, and naturally purifies the water. The harvested bamboo is also reused for other purposes, creating a virtuous cycle.

At La Croix Belle, we do everything we can to minimize our energy consumption and rely on natural energy!

Our winery is partially underground, and its walls are made of massive and large stone blocks from the Gard region, naturally limiting thermal exchanges.

The winery is also equipped with a Canadian well system, which naturally creates a flow of cool air that regulates the indoor temperature.
